Kenneth Roberts, 96, of Nebo, KY, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2024, at his home.
He was born on May 22, 1928, in Nebo, KY, to the late Allie Estes Roberts and Dolph Roberts. He was a self-employed farmer. He loved hunting and farming. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Kenneth was a member of Johnson Island Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of seventy years, Dorothy Lou Roberts; three sisters; one brother; and his grandson, Brad Roberts.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda (David) Ramsey of Madisonville, KY, Anita (Charlie) Hamby of Dawson Springs, KY, and Renae Roberts of Princeton, KY; sons, Jimmie (Kim) Brown of Henderson, KY, Kenneth W. (Polly) Roberts of Nebo, and Ricky (Mariah) Roberts of Nebo; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathon Harralson of Earlington Baptist officiating. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Nebo, KY.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Alvin Axton, Shaun Roberts, Jake Roberts, Brian Roberts, and Philip Hamby.
