The Caldwell County Elementary School hosted an open house for students and parents Thursday afternoon.
Students entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grades made their way to their classrooms to meet their teachers and see other students in their class.
Michele Hodges has taught 5th grade for several years and is ready to get the new year started.
