Caldwell County Schools’ Opening Day Deemed a Success (w/PHOTOS)

Opening day for Caldwell County Schools was considered a success by local school officials and law enforcement.

The morning saw an increase in traffic around the school campus as expected but seemed to flow in a calm and orderly manner. Vehicles were already beginning to line up by 6:45 am to bring students to the schools and shortly after the school buses began to arrive to deliver students to their schools. School officals were located throughout the school campus to help direct traffic to assist with the flow.

School Resource Officer Nate Herron was pleased with the drivers as he directed traffic at the intersection of Beckner Lane and Marion Road. Herron shared another issue to be aware of when leaving the school campus on Marion Road.
