Robert Earl Anderson, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, at the age of 70 in Princeton, Kentucky. Born on June 29, 1954, in Trigg County, KY.
A proud father, Robert’s legacy is carried on by his devoted daughter, Brandi Johnson of Cadiz, and his son, Michael Cavanaugh of Lexington, KY. His role as a grandfather brought him immeasurable joy, and he leaves behind a treasure trove of memories for his grandchildren, Imani Johnson, Gineyah Cavanaugh and Kalani Burks. His love for his family was evident in every action, every word of encouragement, and every moment spent together.
His mother, Alberta Brandon, and sister, Rosemary Shemwell, preceded him in death, leaving behind a legacy of love that Robert continued to honor every day.
Robert spent his professional life as an operator at the Rock Quarry, a job that reflected his solid work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. A long-time member of the Cave Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Robert found solace and strength in his faith.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Pastor James Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Cave Spring Cemetery in Trigg County.
