Annie Louise Ryan Ward, age 92, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
Annie was born on January 11, 1932, in Trigg County, KY to the late Broaddus Clinton and Lemual Louise Hutchinson Ryon. Annie was a cherished soul known for her loving, kind, and gentle nature. Annie’s strong work ethic was evident in the various jobs she had. From punching tickets at the Princeton Drive In Theater to working at the Princeton Hosiery Mill, her pride and dedication to the task at hand was unwavering. Annie took tender care and had a great knowledge of flowers. She could often be found in her yard working and tending to her lawn. A devout charter member of Southside Baptist Church, she found great joy in her faith and the fellowship of her church community.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Linda Louise Armbruster of Princeton; two sons, Robert Lee (Linda) Ward of Princeton, KY and James Allen (Debi) Ward; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wayne Ward; grandson, Tom Ward; great- grandson, Brenden Ward; sister Irene Ethridge; brothers, James Robert Ryan and Broaddus Ryon, JR.
Visitation for Annie Ward will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Kyle Noffsinger officiating. Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
