The Princeton Police Department is investigating a string of thefts in the Country Club Hills Subdivision.

Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reported that on Friday, officers received multiple calls from residents about items stolen from their vehicles. According to Allison video surveillance from homes in the area shows two suspects entering unlocked vehicles and taking various items, including cash, computer equipment, purses, and firearms. He also noted that the suspects entered garages with open doors to access unlocked vehicles. Officers confirmed that no damage was reported to any of the vehicles.

Allison stated that video footage revealed the perpetrators did not attempt to enter any vehicles that were locked.

He urges anyone with information or video footage related to these thefts to contact the Princeton Police Department at 270-365-4657 or Central Dispatch at 270-365-2041.

Police are advising residents to keep their vehicles and homes locked and to avoid leaving valuables in unlocked vehicles.
