Princeton Rotary Homeschool Interact Club Back-to-School Bash Held Friday (w/PHOTOS)

Students were abuzz at the George Coon Public Library for a back-to-school bash hosted for the Princeton Rotary Homeschool Interact Club and EarlyAct Club Friday afternoon.

Princeton Rotary Club member Steffani Burton, the Interact Club sponsor, explained that they organized the back-to-school bash to ensure homeschooled students don’t miss out on the experiences that other kids enjoy.

Eleven-year-old Vanessa Lee, who is starting the 5th grade, enjoyed making a bead wristlet.

Sixteen-year-old Isabella “Boo” Burton, a member of the Princeton Rotary Homeschool Interact Club since 2019, was assisting with activities for the younger kids and shared her thoughts on what makes this group unique.

Boone Chambers was among the adults facilitating the fun activities, with kids eagerly lining up at his table to request custom-made balloons.
