The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run on KY 274 over the weekend.
Sheriff Brent White says Deputy Michelle Kent responded to a two-vehicle hit-and-run collision on KY 274 near Cannon Road shortly after 7:00 Saturday night.
According to Sheriff White, the investigation revealed an unidentified northbound truck failed to stay in its lane and sideswipted a pickup truck driven by 68-year old James Childress of Eddyville. He says Childress received minor injuries and was checked out at the scene by Lyon County EMS, but declined to be transported to a hospital.
Sheriff White says the unidentified truck had large mirrors, but was unable to be found.
