A Princeton man was arrested on burglary and drug trafficking charges after an investigation over the weekend.
According to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Ashley Copeland was sent to a residence on McGowan Station Road for a complaint on Sunday.
Upon arrival and further investigation, Deputy Copeland arrested and charged 35-year old Brian Bender with second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, resisting arrest, trafficking meth second or greater offense, prescription-controlled substance not in proper container and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bender was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
Deputy Copeland was assisted at the scene by the Princeton Police Department.
