Audrey Alice Pearcy, age 95 of Paducah Ky, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Riversbend Nursing and Rehab in Kuttawa, KY.
Born March 30, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Thomas Pearcy and Julia Ann Lacy Pearcy.
Audrey was preceded in death by brothers: Daris Leon Pearcy, Carey W. Pearcy, Kenneth Pearcy and Olin Pearcy; also sister Virginia Grimes; and niece Roberta Manges.
She is survived by two sisters: Patricia Alsobrook and husband Merlin of Princeton, KY, Felicia Bostain of Pembroke, KY, nephew Curtis Cook of Pembroke, KY and other nieces and nephews.
Audrey was a graduate of Lyon County Senior High School and graduate of Draughon’s Business College in Paducah, was employed by the vocational rehabilitation bureau for 11 ½ years, was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Reidland, KY and was active in the women’s ministry group. She was a novice poet having a line of poetry on the internet at www.poetry.com.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am till 11:00 am Friday, August 30, 2024, at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday at Dunn’s with Rev Harrell Riley officiating, Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery in Lyon County. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Food for the Poor at Lyon County Schools in Eddyville, KY.
