Because of the Labor Day holiday, Princeton City Council will instead meet on Tuesday at 5 PM.

Among the items on the agenda will be the discussion of the contract between the city and Princeton Tourism Commission to provide administrative support services. According to information provided by City Clerk Julie Poole, the contract would designate Laci Harper as the tourism director and would be responsible for completing the administrative services.

The city would provide office space and equipment for Harper, whose initial term would be for one year.

Other items on the agenda include an update on a grant for a playground, and a request for bids on dugouts at the City County Park.

In March, the city council accepted a bid for the ball fields project and gave approval to advertise for sealed bids on the fence project and the project to renovate the tennis courts.

Also on Tuesday’s agenda is the second reading of property tax rates for the 24-25 fiscal year.
