A Madisonville woman is facing multiple forgery and theft-related charges across three counties after being extradited to Kentucky from Tennessee over the weekend.

Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reports multiple warrants were served on 42-year old Amanda Fitzgerald on Saturday. He said Fitzgerald was initially investigated by multiple out-of-county agencies and his office beginning in 2020 and 2021 following complaints of counterfeiting and after a search warrant was executed on Travis Road.

According to Sheriff White, Fitzgerald is charged in Lyon County with the complicity of criminal possession of a forged instrument, complicity to theft over $1,000 but under $10,000, complicity to forgery, and complicity of possession of a forgery device.

In Crittenden County, Fitzgerald is charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft, and in Caldwell County, she is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft.

Fitzgerald was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
