Princeton Man’s Murder Case Continued After Tuesday Court Appearance

A Princeton man accused of killing his wife had his case continued after appearing in Caldwell County Circuit Court on Tuesday.

Eric Wright is charged with murder in connection to the death of 27-year old Rachel Tucker-Wright of Princeton, on March 26 at a home on Dripping Springs Road. The indictment alleges that his wife suffered blunt force trauma.

On Tuesday, Wright, his public defender Mary Rohrer, and Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Jill Giordano appeared before Judge Jamus Redd for a pretrial conference. Rohrer requested another hearing, explaining that she might file a motion to exclude some recently received discovery.

Wright remains lodged in the Caldwell County Jail under a $1 million bond.
