A Princeton man facing charges of assault and murder is to return to court in November, following the continuation of his hearing in Caldwell County Circuit Court on Tuesday afternoon.
Trevor Tucker is charged with murder in the death of Patricia Squires, who died in late March while in hospice care at Mercy Health in Paducah.
Tucker, his public defender Mary Rohrer, and Commonwealth’s Attorney Carrie Ovey-Wiggins appeared before Judge Natalie White where Rohrer requested the case be continued until November. Judge White set another pretrial conference for 1:00 Thursday afternoon, November 7.
Tucker was previously indicted in March on two counts of first-degree assault after the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office called state police to investigate a domestic dispute in the 100 block of H Haile Road in Dawson Springs on the night of January 9.
According to state police, when troopers arrived at the scene they found two adult women who had been injured with a knife when they were assaulted by Tucker.
State Police told Your News Edge that Bailey Whitman was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health in Hopkinsville and her mother, Squires was flown by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Police said Squires was later transferred to hospice care in Paducah where she passed away.
Tucker remains lodged in the Caldwell County Jail on a $1 million bond.
