The Princeton Electric Plant Board recently approved a bid for the removal of the existing fence, as well as the installation of a new fence and gate, at its main office.
Councilman Jim Joiner, a member of the Board, provided an update from the Princeton Electric Plant Board to the City Council at Tuesday night’s meeting. He announced that the bid had been awarded to a company in Calloway County.
click to download audioHe also announced that notices will be sent out to those who will affected by a planned outage next week due to an installation project by a telecommunications company.
click to download audioAccording to Joiner, the Plant Board’s Prairie State Coal Fired performance improved in July, with both units achieving over 90% availability and producing more than 1 million megawatts of energy per hour.
