Yataro “Taro” White, 40, of Princeton

Yataro “Taro” Deshawn White, age 40, of Princeton, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024.

Yataro was born July 11, 1984, to Allen and Josie White. Yataro started his work career at Dairy Queen in Princeton as the “Grill Master” for twenty years before going to Rogers Group. He was currently employed by Hydro Gear of Princeton where he was a team leader. He loved fishing, riding his dirt bike and four-wheeler, spending time with his kids, nieces and nephews, driving a tractor and Reeses Cups.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Jordan Haney of Princeton and Keveyah White of Hopkinsville; one son, Keyshawn White of Hopkinsville; three sisters, Netta (Anthony) Gray of Princeton, Shawniece White of Princeton, Schelita (Darron) Owens of Tennessee; three brothers, Allen (Charity) White of Princeton, Fonso White of New Albany, IN, Cameron White of Princeton. He cherished all thirteen nieces, Parris, Alysia, Kelyn, Alani, Courtney, Zuri, Jameliana “J Bug”, Kyonna, Kinley, Chenoa, Aaliyah, Darrionna and De’Ajanae. Although he shared a special bond with his nephew Kutron, he had a special bond with his other three nephews as well, Treston, Cruz and Zayden. His special aunt, Carla Diggs; special brothers/ friends, Christopher “Todd” Patterson and Zack Vinson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
