The General John Caldwell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution kicked off their annual Constitution Week celebration on WPKY’s “Coffee Talk with Tess” Monday morning. DAR member, Mrs. Pat Hayes was featured during today’s segment. Listen to her visit below:

Each day this week, Tess will feature a DAR member as they present details and information as a refresher for some, and for others, may be facts or misconceptions you’ve never heard. Constitution Week is celebrated across the United States each year, September 17th through the 23rd. Don’t miss the annual event, at Big Springs Park in historic downtown Princeton, this Sunday, September 22nd at 2pm, as members of the General John Caldwell Chapter of the DAR alongside members of the Captain William Prince Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, will present readings including the Preamble, Amendments, additional facts and even misconceptions regarding the U.S. Constitution. For more information, or to explore your Revolutionary War ancestry, please contact a DAR member, or Caldwell County Genealogy Society at (270)365-2884.
