Princeton Electric Plant Board to Celebrate Public Power Week, October 6-12

The Princeton Electric Plant Board announced on Tuesday that it will be celebrating Public Power Week from October 6-12, joining 2,000 other community-powered, not-for-profit electric utilities that together supply electricity to 54 million Americans across 49 states and five territories.

In a written statement, General Manager Chris Burton expressed pride in serving Princeton emphasizing their daily focus on customers. He noted that, as a local provider here in Princeton and serving their friends and neighbors, they prioritize customer service, energy savings, and reliable service for their community.

Furthermore, Burton highlighted that Public Power means local friends, neighbors, and families are the ones responsible for providing excellent and reliable service to the City of Princeton. He emphasized the Princeton Electric Plant Board’s commitment to delivering top-notch service and value focusing on customers’ specific needs, including high reliability and local priorities. He affirmed that the Princeton Electric Plant Board is truly a hometown energy provider dedicated to serving the community.

Officials from the Princeton Electric Plant Board invite community members to join their Community Appreciation Lunch on Wednesday, October 9, from 11 AM to 1 PM in their parking lot at 304 East Legion Drive.
