DAR Kicks Off Constitution Week, Annual Reading on Sunday

The General John Caldwell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution kicked off its annual Constitution Week celebration on WPKY Monday.

DAR member Maggie Gammon announced that Constitution Week officially began on Tuesday. She said they have hosted the Constitution reading for about six years. She also mentioned that Marty Pressler has been instrumental in coordinating the events for this week.

click to download audioAdditionally, she mentioned that Judge-Executive Kota Young was the guest speaker at the DAR meeting on Saturday, where he provided a phenomenal breakdown of the Constitution and its Amendments.

click to download audioGammon added that Judge Young has also been asked to give a condensed version of the breakdown at the readings at 2:00 Sunday afternoon in Big Springs Park in Princeton.
