This week, Princeton Code Enforcement Officer Alan Getz highlighted several ongoing cases he is actively working on.
Getz informed the city council at Monday night’s meeting that one of the key cases that is ongoing is the Marion Road property.

click to download audioHe mentioned that they will reassess the property to determine whether it is in compliance or to identify the next steps Duncan needs to take, and he also outlined a worst-case scenario.

click to download audioAs we shift into the fall and winter months, Getz said they are seeing a downtick in public regulation complaints and he’s shifting his focus to business regulations in an effort to identify delinquencies in their Occupational Tax Division. He noted that he has been conducting a comprehensive audit of all the City’s accounts, which he described as a tedious and time-consuming process.
click to download audioHe emphasized that his primary focus right now is to identify delinquent taxes owed to the City. By doing so, Getz stated that the City can possibly allocate those funds toward initiatives that would benefit the community.
