A Marion man was taken to the hospital after a collision on Marion Road in Caldwell County Sunday.
Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman reports that Deputy Anthony Brown was sent to the wreck and determined 67-year old Clifford Shoemake was driving southbound when he collided with three cows.
Shoemake was transported by AmeriPro EMS to Caldwell Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Chief Deputy Stacy Blackburn, Fredonia First Responders and Wallace Towing assisted Deputy Brown at the scene.
