Mark Anthony Hooks of Fredonia, age 50, born on January 12, 1974, in Caldwell County, Kentucky, passed away on October 8, 2024, at Baptist Health of Paducah. He was a dedicated truck driver for BGB Trucking, a career that showcased his hard work and commitment to providing for his family.
Mark was a beloved member of the Fredonia 1st Baptist Church, where his faith and community involvement were deeply cherished. He possessed a vibrant personality and was known for his passion for football, having played during his high school years. His enthusiasm for the Tennessee Vols football team was an enduring source of joy for him, while his interest in hunting reflected his adventurous spirit.
Mark leaves behind his devoted mother, Dottie Hooks of Fredonia, and his loving daughter, Allison Hooks of Marshall County. He is preceded in death by his father, William Hooks, and his brother, Matthew Hooks, who are mourned alongside him.
A graveside service will be held in his honor on October 13, 2024, at Fredonia Cemetery, beginning at 3:30 PM with Bro. David Fambrough and Bro. Kennith Argo officiating.
