A tip from law enforcement in a neighboring county regarding a stolen motorcycle resulted in the arrest of a Princeton man on Tuesday night.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reported that the Trigg Sheriff’s Department alerted officers about a stolen motorcycle suspected to be in Princeton. Officers went to Linton Way Apartments, where they reportedly found 28-year-old Austin Hillard in the parking lot working on a motorcycle. Police said a records check confirmed the motorcycle was listed as stolen.
Hillard was taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property over $1,000. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
