Coleman Dixon is well known to the community. Over the years he has worn many hats, including entrepreneur and a law enforcement badge, serving locally for well over two decades. However, before his parents moved their family and business to Western Kentucky, home was Black Mountain, North Carolina. A beautiful tourist community snuggled into the mountains where Dixon grew up, and still considers home. His hometown looks a lot different following Helene. Some would say unrecognizable. As he and his family watched the casualty count continue to rise, Dixon found a way to help. This Sunday he is hitting the road with a full trailer, to a home that may be hard to recognise. Dixon details the devastation with Tess on WPKY’s “Coffee Talk”, and the help that is on its way from friends and family in Western Kentucky. Listen to the full visit below:

I just want to give a HUGE thank you to anyone and everyone who donated money and items. The trailer and truck is absolutely stuffed to the brim. I don’t think I could even get a pack of gum in there. Lol. The generosity and love that has been shown has been overwhelming. If you would like to continue donate money to the victims there, I’ll be more than happy to give it to them. Like I said I can’t fit anymore items though. If I’m able to make another trip in the future I will let everyone know. God Bless and thank you.

Coleman Dixon proudly owns “Bad Bandit Rub and Seasoning”.  Dixon unveiled a new spicy, buffalo sauce and popular snack cracker option to add to his popular line during this weekend’s Ham Fest in Cadiz, Ky.
