Carlton Bruce Asbridge, age 76, of Eddyville, Ky passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN. Bruce served in the U.S. Navy and had a successful automotive sales career in Northwest Indiana. Bruce and Sharon retired and relocated to his birthplace, Kentucky.
Bruce spent many days fishing, hunting and gardening. A bad day on the lake was still a good day. He made many friends and welcomed both friends and family to his home and boat. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Sharon Michael Asbridge; children, Sean (Michelle) Asbridge, IN; Brian Asbridge, FL; Christopher Asbridge, IN; John (Barb) Aneston, IN; Michael Aneston, IN; Jill Bristley, Iowa; Matthew (Dawn) Aneston, IN; brother, Donald (Sandy) Asbridge, IN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his special canine companion, Hanna.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, William Freeman Asbridge and Thelma Lynn Duvall Asbridge and brother, Clinton Asbridge.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Ronnie Fox officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Frances Cemetery in Crittenden County.
