The Caldwell County FFA Alumni met Monday night in the agriculture classroom at the high school.
Members were informed of upcoming activities for the local FFA Chapter by Advisors Magen Woods and Parker Jennings. One of the main upcoming events for FFA members will be attending the 97th annual National FFA Convention to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Advisor Woods shared some of the activities the students will experience during the week.

The Chapter will also be entering the land judging and horse judging competitions in the upcoming months. FFA Vice President Whitleigh Carter shared about a special activity scheduled before the football game this coming Friday night.
click to download audioCarter added they will be playing games and it will allow FFA members to have a good time and visit plus other students are welcome to join them in the fun.
click to download audioThe tailgate party will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and will be either beside the main gate or by the tennis courts gate. They encourage members to attend the game and support the many FFA members on the football team.
The next meeting for the FFA Alumni Chapter will be February 10th at 5:00 pm. Anyone interested in supporting the local FFA Chapter is welcome to attend.
