Bonnie Jean Canada, passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 87 in Kuttawa, KY. Born on October 11, 1937, in Crittenden County, KY, Bonnie’s life was a testament to her kind and nurturing spirit.
Bonnie’s legacy is cherished by her devoted daughter, Deborah Canada of Clarksville, TN; her son, Charles Dwaine Canada of Princeton; her caring sister, Sue Smithson of Florida; her brother, Billy Meeks of Calvert City, KY; three adored grandchildren, Michelle Ortt, Michael Canada and Melanie Smithson; and six great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Bill and Helen Davis Meeks.
Bonnie was a member of Northside Baptist Church and she had a passion for gardening. She was a woman who truly embodied love, kindness, and a gentle touch in all her actions. She was a loving caretaker. Bonnie’s memory will forever be a guiding light to all who knew her.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Fredonia Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
