$50,000 Winning Powerball® Ticket Sold at Lyon County Retailer

A $50,000 winning Powerball® ticket was sold at a Lyon County retailer.

According to Kentucky Lottery officials, the winning ticket was bought at BP in Kuttawa, situated at 29 Days Inn.

The winning numbers for Saturday night’s Powerball drawing were 7 – 16 – 19 – 45 – 64, with a Powerball of 25. Lottery officials stated that the winning ticket matched four of the white ball numbers and the Powerball earning a prize of $50,000.

The Kentucky Lottery recommends that winners take the following steps: sign the back of their tickets, secure them in a safe place, and claim their prize within 180 days from the drawing date/

Officials said that winners need to claim their prizes at the lottery headquarters located at 1011 West Main Street in Louisville. They advised winners to call the lottery at 1-877-789-4532 to schedule an appointment to claim their prize.

In 2024, the Kentucky Lottery awarded over $1.5 billion in prizes. Since 1999, proceeds from the Kentucky Lottery have contributed more than $5 billion in scholarships and grants for college students in Kentucky.
