A domestic assault led to the arrest of a Princeton man over the weekend.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison said officers were sent to 1013 North Jefferson Street shortly after 2:30 Sunday morning. He said a woman reported that 30-year-old Christopher Oliver had assaulted her at her residence and fled before officers arrived.
According to the police report, officers later located Oliver in the area and he was taken into custody. He was charged with fourth-degree assault – 3rd offense within 5 years and criminal trespassing. Oliver was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
