Princeton City Council Advances City-County Park Improvements

The Princeton City Council is continuing to move forward with improvements at the City-County Park.

During Monday night’s meeting, Mayor Brock Thomas requested approval to advertise bids for the lighting project.

click to download audioThe Council unanimously approved the request, with Councilman Carl Copeland absent from the meeting.

In his report, Mayor Thomas updated the Council on the pickleball courts at City-County Park, stating the project should be completed in about two weeks.

click to download audioHe also mentioned that Precision Concrete is working on a sidewalk safety project, with a plan to be presented to the Council in the future.

During department reports, Princeton Police Chief Chris King updated the Council on two new hires currently at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training.
