Mayor Thomas Updates Princeton on Halloween Plans, Free Wi-Fi Launch

Mayor Brock Thomas reminded residents of trick-or-treating hours and the free public Wi-Fi activation during his reports at Monday night’s Princeton City Council meeting.

Mayor Thomas announced that West Main Street in downtown will be closed starting at 3:30 p.m. on Halloween.

click to download audioHe noted that the Princeton Electric Plant Board, along with a company from Ohio, will assist with the Wi-Fi installation.

click to download audioIn another update to the City Council, Princeton Public Works Interim Director Chris Pool reported the completion of the bridge reconstruction over Big Springs.

click to download audioHe also noted that all the swings at Princeton Park have been replaced, with two additional swings added for handicapped accessibility.

In addition, Mayor Thomas said that Public Works has constructed walls at the cemetery.
