Caldwell County Clerk Jennifer Hale Provides Detailed Information About Voting

With Election Day fastly approaching, Caldwell County voters are already casting ballots as in-person excused absentee voting began on Wednesday.

Caldwell County Clerk Jennifer Watson-Hale is informing registered voters about the candidates on the local election ballot from state representatives to Caldwell Circuit Clerk.

click to download audioThe ballot will also feature local races for seats on the Caldwell County school board, Fredonia City Council, and Princeton City Council.

Hale noted that the two-sided ballot also features amendments and a question regarding medical cannabis in Caldwell County.

click to download audioIn-person excused absentee voting commenced Wednesday and runs from 8 AM to 4 PM in the back office of the County Clerk’s Office on the second floor of the Caldwell County Courthouse at 100 East Market Street in Princeton.

click to download audioHale announced that no-excuse absentee voting will take place at the Butler Gym, located at 612 West Washington Street in Princeton, later next week.

click to download audioShe stated that on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, four vote centers will be available for casting ballots.
