Caldwell County Schools Invite Veterans to November 11 Celebrations

Caldwell County Public Schools invite local veterans to join the district’s upcoming Veterans Day celebrations on Monday, November 11.

Lizzie Wynn, the Public Relations and Community Engagement Coordinator, has announced that the Veterans Day Program at Caldwell County Elementary School will commence at 7:40 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium. After the program, veterans will be served a light breakfast. Veterans who wish to stay for breakfast are requested to contact the elementary school at 270-365-8030 to make a reservation. Wynn noted that reservations must be made by Friday, November 1.

Following the events at the elementary school, Wynn announced that a campus-wide parade would take place. For more information about the parade, feel free to contact Wynn at 270-365-8000.

In addition, Wynn mentioned that Caldwell County High School will host a Veterans Day lunch on Monday, November 11, for veterans related to high school students. She emphasized that students must register their veterans for the lunch by Wednesday, October 30. Guests are asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m., with lunch being served at 11:00 a.m.

School officials thanked all veterans for their service and said they look forward to honoring them on this special day.
