CCHS Marching Band Wraps Up Season, Prepares for Fall Concert Friday Night

The Caldwell County High School marching band season came to a close last Saturday but that doesn’t mean the band students are finished for the year.

Band Director Mason Henry shared the results of the regional marching contest.

click to download audioHenry invited the public to the fall band concert featuring the middle and high school bands to be held this Friday night. The concert will also include the final performance for the marching band to present their program for the year.

click to download audioHenry added that with the ending of the marching season and the fall concert, all the band students will now move on to the next phase of the multiple band programs for the year.

click to download audioHenry and the band students took a break Tuesday night for a fundraiser at the local Dairy Queen. The Caldwell Band Boosters received 10 percent of all sales from 4 to 7 from purchases made during that time. Henry said they had been busy all evening.

click to download audioThe Caldwell County Band will also be actively supporting both the Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball teams playing as the pep band during both of the teams’ seasons.
