Governor Andy Beshear announced Thursday that the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority approved three projects for $10.2 million in state funding, including one project in Caldwell County.
Gov. Beshear expressed his excitement over the investment in these three projects for site and building upgrades in the state. He noted these sites will attract quality businesses and create well-paying jobs for Kentucky families.
He announced that Caldwell County Fiscal Court, representing the Princeton-Caldwell County Industrial Development Authority, was approved for $4 million in state funding for an $8 million regional project.

Beshear announced the other projects include the Big Sandy Area Development District’s purchase of 50 acres for the Thunder Ridge Industrial Business Park and the Coal Fields Regional Industrial Authority’s construction of a secondary water treatment plant and transmission line at Coal Field Industrial Park in Perry County.
