Dawson Springs Educator Selected for Kentucky Innovative Teacher Fellowship Program

A local teacher is one of ten educators chosen to join the Kentucky Innovative Learning Network’s 2024-2025 Innovative Teacher Fellowship Program.

Officials from the Kentucky Innovative Learning Network announced that Bailey Dyer of Dawson Springs Elementary School was chosen from a statewide pool of applicants for the program. The Kentucky Innovative Learning Network is a collaboration between local school districts and the Kentucky Department of Education, offering a shared professional environment for educators.

Officials said educators in this cohort will craft innovative experiences that connect to the three big ideas of the United We Learn vision: creating vibrant learning experiences, accelerating innovation, and building a bold new future through collaboration with communities.

Educators participating in the Innovative Teacher Fellowship program will receive professional learning development opportunities, chances to enhance their leadership skills, and ideas for developing and implementing innovative projects, all aimed at directly improving the learning experiences of students in Kentucky.

Officials said any Kentucky district dedicated to implementing educational initiatives, such as personalized learning, and interested in advancing discussions with a group of committed peers, can join the Kentucky Innovative Learning Network by completing its Letter of Commitment.
