Leaf collection in the City of Princeton is set to commence later this month, as announced by Interim Public Works Director Chris Pool during Monday night’s City Council meeting.
He informed the Council that the collection of bagged or curbside leaves will start at 7:00 on Monday morning, November 25.
click to download audioPool also noted that Public Works has completed some drain repairs and is currently trimming brush throughout the city.
Mayor Brock Thomas mentioned that a popular local restaurant has submitted a street acceptance request to the City.

In other new business, the Council declared a Public Works pickup truck as surplus and authorized the mayor to solicit bids.
click to download audioThomas also revealed during the meeting that the City has received bids from Precision Concrete Cutting for Phase 1 of the proposed Sidewalk Trip Hazard Safety Repair project. He noted that there are a couple of proposed options and he has contacted the company to request further details on these options.
