Princeton Man Charged with Assault and Endangerment

A Princeton man faces multiple charges after he allegedly assaulted a woman and endangered bystanders by ramming a parked vehicle last week.

Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reported that officers responded to a domestic assault and EPO violation in the 300 block of Bell Street on Friday evening. He said 33-year-old Travis Stinnett was accused of punching a woman who had an active EPO against him and intentionally ramming a parked vehicle, endangering nearby bystanders.

Stinnett was taken into custody and charged with first-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree domestic violence assault, violation of a Kentucky EPO, first-degree wanton endangerment, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, and operating a vehicle with an expired license. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
