This year First Baptist has filled 2085 shoe boxes and according to church member Tanner Kilgore shipping has to be paid for each box. He is planning on holding a fundraiser to help pay the expenses for those boxes. He will be bringing his Porky’s grilling business to the First Baptist front lawn on Saturday, November 16th for a grilled pork chop sale with all proceeds going directly to the shoebox ministry at First Baptist.
