Donald E. Doom, age 76, of Kuttawa, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Ray & Kay Hospice Care Center in Paducah. He was a member of Fredonia First Baptist Church, Fredonia Lions Club and Fredonia American Legion. Donald enjoyed old tractors, hot rods, golfing, traveling and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Doom, Kuttawa, KY; one daughter, Shannon Goddard, Fredonia, KY; two sons, Joe Don (Erica) Doom, Princeton, KY and Thomas Pruitt, Lakewood, TN; one sister, Jane Baker, Fredonia, KY; three brothers, Charles (Renee) Doom, Smyrna, TN, Anthony (Sara) Doom, Reidsville, NC, Darrell (Paula) Doom, Hopkinsville, KY; five grandchildren, McKenna Goddard, Shaye Goddard, Madison Arnold, Jacob Arnold and Allison Arnold; one great-grandson, Thomas Michael Autry and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Leroy Doom and Addie Ruth Kingston Doom and his twin brother, Ronald Dean Doom.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Bro. Kyle Noffsinger and Bro. Randy Loveless officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lyon County.
