As their season comes to an end, The Homeplace 1850’s Working Farm at LBL, is gearing up for a Holiday send off. Aly Mallory joined Tess on WPKY’s “Coffee Talk”, to give us all the details for the unique, family friendly holiday experience, scheduled on their last day of operation of 2024, November 30th. The Homeplace page describes it as “the wonders of the season with an 1850’s twist”. From the decor, music and traditional recipe collections, to holiday stories by the campfire all leading up to a visit from the big guy himself, Santa! Aly says they will close as of December 1st for the season, and will open back up in March, 2025. However, she says there will still be plenty to explore and do at LBL during the winter, such as the Planetarium! Listen to the full visit below:
