Princeton Man Arrested on Strangulation and Assault Charges

12-19-23-arrest-2

A Princeton man was taken into custody on multiple charges following his arrest on warrants related to two domestic disturbance incidents last week.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reported that 27-year old Johnny Grace was arrested Monday afternoon on two Caldwell County arrest warrants charging him with first-degree strangulation and two counts of fourth-degree assault.

According to Allison, the charges are from investigations on November 13 and 16, when officers responded to a domestic disturbance near the 200 block of Harvey Lane. He said the victim reported that Grace assaulted her, covering her mouth to prevent breathing on November 13, and struck her multiple times on November 16. He noted that officers observed injuries consistent with her statements, and Grace had fled prior to police arrival on both instances and warrants were requested.

Grace was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
