John Parker, 73, of Caldwell County

John Parker Glass, known as Johnny to his friends and family, passed away, November 7, 2024, concluding a life well-lived and rich with experiences. Born on April 1, 1951, in Caldwell County, KY to a large family.

Johnny grew up surrounded by the love and laughter of his family. He was a beloved brother to his siblings and an endearing figure to his late parents, George Pipkin and Macie Gresham Glass. His four sisters, Barbara (Phillip) Armstrong of Kuttawa, Louetta Rogers of Princeton, Margaret Rose Wilcox of LaVergne, TN, and Mary Glass of Lebanon, TN, as a source of joy. His brothers, Barry Glass of Nashville, TN, and George (Kim) Glass of Eddyville, cherished the bonds they shared. Johnny was also a kindred spirit to his late brothers, Jackie, James Allen, and Donnie, his departed twin with whom he shared an exceptional connection.

Living with a genuine passion for hospitality, Johnny dedicated his professional life to ensuring that others felt welcomed and cared for. His career in hospitality services for a prominent hotel chain was marked by unwavering dedication and a drive to provide comfort and a memorable experience to every guest.

Kodak, TN, became Johnny’s treasured home, where he spent his final chapters. His memory will be cherished by his beloved family, his friends, and all who had the pleasure of experiencing his warm spirit.

Memorial Graveside services will be held at a later date.
