A fire in Caldwell County destroyed an outbuilding and a vehicle Thursday morning.
Fire Chief Brent Francis reported that eight firefighters from his department responded to a fire involving an outbuilding and a vehicle next to it in the 18000 block of Dawson Road shortly before 8:00 a.m.

According to Chief Francis, no injuries were reported.
