Madisonville Community College has announced that registration is now open for the Winter and Spring sessions.
Officials said students can take advantage of MCC’s flexible course offerings, including a variety of online and in-person options to suit their schedules.
Officials stated that MCC’s 4-week Winter Session will run from December 16 to January 12, with all coursework conducted online and counting toward the spring semester course load.
The spring semester is set to begin on January 13. Officials encourage currently enrolled students to reach out to their academic advisors to finalize their spring schedules. New students or those returning after a break are advised to contact MCC’s Enrollment Center or the Muhlenberg Campus for registration assistance and more information.
MCC officials also announced an Express Enrollment event will take place on December 4, from 9 am to 4 pm at the North Campus. Students can drop in without an appointment to meet admissions, advising, and financial aid representatives, and register for classes. They noted that MSU-Madisonville advisors will also be available for those planning to transfer or take courses through Murray State University.
MCC Officials said staff will also be available to assist students with the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship application, which offers free tuition for select associate degrees and short-term certificate programs in high-demand fields to students without a college degree. The scholarship is applied after all other federal and state aid. Officials added that MCC has over 70 programs eligible for this scholarship.
