The United Way of the Coalfield is asking residents to nominate unsung heroes for its first-ever Community Impact Award.
Executive Director Stephanie Alexander is thrilled to announce that they are seeking nominations from residents across Caldwell, Hopkins, and Muhlenberg counties for individuals who may go unnoticed but are Good Samaritans, volunteering to make a difference in their communities.

click to download audioShe stated that nominations are due by the end of the second week in December, and recipients from each of the three counties will be honored at the Community Impact Award celebration on January 23 at 8 a.m. in the Beshear Building at Madisonville Community College.
