Phillip Armstrong, 83, of Kuttawa

Philip Eugene Armstrong, age 83, of Kuttawa, KY passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at Murray Calloway County Hospital. Philip was a contractor/home builder and loved building things. He was a member of Kuttawa Independent Church, a former member of Archery Club, was a former Watch Dog volunteer at Lyon County Schools and loved hunting.

Survivors include his wife of over 62 years, Barbara Ann Glass Armstrong, Kuttawa, KY; two sons, Tim (Jackie) Armstrong, Kuttawa, KY and Heath Armstrong, Kuttawa, KY; three grandchildren, Josie (Patrick) McIntyre, Kuttawa, KY; Sarah (Logan) Elliott, Bowling Green, KY and Catie Armstrong, Sackets Harbor, NY; three great-grandchildren, Alice McIntyre, Luke Elliott (due to arrive in Nov. 2024) and Annie McIntyre (due to arrive in April, 2025).

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Eugene Armstrong and Virginia Brown Dycus Armstrong and one sister, Janice Robin Armstrong.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Bro. Chuck Ladd and Bro. Jed Ramey officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
