Ms. Deborah “Debbie” Dees, age 68, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 27th, 2024. She passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with brain cancer. Debbie was a registered nurse and worked as a nurse for almost 40 years. She enjoyed travel nursing later in her career. She was truly a caregiver and worked until the week she was diagnosed with cancer. She also enjoyed her dogs, Little Bit, Callie, and Baby over the years. Debbie was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Debbie is survived by daughter, Lindsey Dees Jaggers (Bryan); granddaughter Charlotte “Charlie” Jaggers; bonus grandchildren, Joby, Jenna and Jacey Jaggers; brother, Anthony Yates; aunt, Francis Beshear and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Beshear Gordon, and grandparents J.O. and Nannie Beshear.
Visitation for Debbie Dees will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Ronnie Sivells officiating. Burial will follow in McNeely Cemetery in Hopkins County.
