Linda Joyce Boyd, age 82, of Princeton, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
Linda was born April 5, 1942 to the late Bertrum and Evelyn McCarty Puckett. Linda was born with a servant’s heart serving as a caregiver and delivering meals through PACS. She loved music and was joyful in her singing. Linda was a member of Greenhill Baptist Church in Princeton. Her greatest accomplishment and love was for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Raneé (Brian) Hicks of Princeton, Melinda (Ray) Deason of Eddyville, Amanda (Earl) Cansler of Princeton; sons, Tony (Cheri) Adkins of Hawesville, Steve (Cindy) Adkins of Owensboro; brothers, Berlyn Puckett of Louisiana and Danny Puckett of Arizona; grandchildren, Whitney (Matt) Gray, Sara (Nick) Zoglmann, Vanessa (Brody) Cox, Jessica Adkins, Hannah Adkins, Alyssa Williams, Falynn Williams, Danielle Oliver, Alexis Martin and Destiny Mellow; fifteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louard Boyd.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at a later time in Pellville Cemetery in Pellville, KY.
