Thomas Sisk, 84, of Dawson Springs

Thomas M. Sisk, age 84. passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024. Born on December 29, 1939, in Caldwell County, Thomas’s life was marked by his dedication to his family, his love for the outdoors, and his friendly demeanor that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Thomas was a retired mechanic and he spent many years dedicated to his work at the Princeton Hosiery Mill and was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church. Thomas will be remembered for his love of tractors, his enjoyment of being outside, and the care he gave to his animals. His outgoing nature and active lifestyle meant that Thomas never met a stranger. He had the unique ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like an old friend.

He is survived by his three daughters, Donna (Mark) Stone of Dawson Springs, KY, Sheila Sisk of Providence, KY, and Nancy (Gary) Adams of St. Charles, KY; his three sons, Mark (Sue) Brewer of Poplar Bluff, MO, James Sisk of Indiana, and Mike (Melanie) Sisk of Dawson Springs, KY; two sisters, Hilda Holeman of Dawson Springs, KY, and Katie Rollins of Hopkinsville, KY; his brother, Darrell Sisk of Morgantown, KY and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lila Fay Sisk, his parents, Frances D. Sisk and Callie Belle Davis Sisk; his daughter, Brenda Gray; his sons, Carl Lee Brewer and Thomas Hayden Sisk; his sisters, Dorothy Bell, Auzie Cummings, and Gurthia McKinney; and his brothers, Curtis Sisk and Glenn Sisk.

Visitation for Thomas Sisk will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Funeral Services for Thomas Sisk will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Faughn, Rev. Bobby Noel and Rev. Roger Mitchell officiating.

Burial to follow in McKnight Cemetery in Christian County.
